Now Hiring - Account Manager in Tualatin, OR

Joel B Shaw, CPA is a long established firm in the Portland-Metro area. Due to Covid-19, nearby CPA firms closing, and various tax complications, we have grown significantly, and as such w​​​​e are looking for an Account Manager to join our expanding team! This position entails significant responsibility involving the preparation and analysis of tax and financial records for numerous clients, as well as maintaining and managing the needs of those clients.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
• Maintain communications with a list of clients, ensuring that their needs are met and deadlines are handled.
• Provide regular reports to upper management regarding the status of clients while maintaining their records and other appropriate information.

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP/SME Regulations
• Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

​​​​​​Compensation & Other Benefits:

• Salary of $60,000 to $100,000 depending on past experience and capabilities, including additional bonuses and flat pay for excess hours worked.
